Somatic processing, also known as somatic experiencing, is a body-centered approach to therapy that focuses on the body's response to trauma and stress, helping individuals become more aware of and release physical tensions and emotions stored in the body. Jess works with clients from a held space of regulated energy to allow clients' nervous systems to communicate, process, and release patterns of held tensions within the body. During a 90-minute session, Jess will facilitate your understanding of a deeper connection with your physical body and teach you practical exercises to engage in between sessions, allowing quicker resolution of deeply held tensions.
