Somatic processing, also known as somatic experiencing, is a body-centered approach to therapy that focuses on the body's response to trauma and stress, helping individuals become more aware of and release physical tensions and emotions stored in the body. ​​​​​ Jess works with clients from a held space of regulated energy to allow clients' nervous systems to communicate, process, and release patterns of held tensions within the body.  During a 90-minute session, Jess will facilitate your understanding of a deeper connection with your physical body and teach you practical exercises to engage in between sessions, allowing quicker resolution of deeply held tensions.
